Mother Goddess Chalice – Sacred Vine

Description

Chalice turned and then hand-modeled in my workshop in Vallauris.

Sculpted leaves intertwine around the cup, creating an upward and organic movement.
The contrast between raw and glazed areas reveals the depth of the reliefs.

• Handcrafted pottery, wheel-thrown and hand-modeled

• Capacity ~ 150 - 200 ml

• Red earthenware & red chamotte earthenware

• Some parts are left raw and patinated with linseed oil.

• Enamelled interior, waterproof (tests carried out in workshop)

• Decorative or ritual use

• Allow to dry completely between washes.
